Simply Awesome Mushroom Pasta

You can totally add chicken to this, have it as a side, main course, whatever! I will say, I go kind of Paula Dean on this one, but it's good!

So lets start with Butter. About a half a cup.

And water. Enough to boil some pasta (follow the directions on the package.

Chopped Mushrooms. Whatever kind you like.

So, you saute the mushrooms in the butter, you can add onions if you want, but start the onions fist if you do that. You can add more butter if it seems to get too dry. You can add white wine and broth (both or either) to this totaling a half a cup or you can just add cream. Add cream or half and half. I probably did about a cup to 1 1/2 cups. Bring to a low boil adding flour or cornstarch to thicken. Add seasonings of your choice to taste (salt, pepper, basil, etc) Boil your pasta noodles per package directions (we did whole wheat angel hair). Drain pasta and add to your buttery creamy mix. Add Parmesan if you'd like.

This one is quick, easy, and tasty... not healthy (other than using the whole grain pasta, organic mushrooms and cream.)!
